Label

I decided to make myself a label. Pretty simple but I have been putting it on most of the items I recently made. I just printed them on our ink jet printer using special fabric paper. Super easy and fun!

Sewing Fun!

My Dad's wife Kari made this adorable doll when they stopped by for a quick visit.

Made this purse from a pattern out of a book.

Made this cute little bear and rhinestone the outfit below for my cousin's little girl.

My aunt and I made this diaper holder and changing pad.

Santa Monica

We recently visited Santa Monica for the weekend. We walked down to the pier and they had a memorial set up for soldiers who have died in Afghanistan. We made a memorial for Brandon Webb, one of Martin's friends. It will be put up every Sunday for as long as the war is still going on. In the top pictures the red crosses stand for 10 soldiers because they were running out of room and the caskets are the number of soldiers that died that week. The memorial is set up every Sunday, so if you are in the area you should stop by.

Bea!

As I promised here is the Bea gallery! I don't have as many picture of him as I do Zee. He is pretty lazy and doesn't do much of anything. He is kind of an awkward cat, he doesn't have good balance at all. When he was a kitten we thought there was something wrong with his legs. Oh yeah and we thought he was a girl! His strangest characteristic is he loves strawberry yogurt. He knows the sound of the package opening and will beg for it. We always let him lick the lid. He is not the smartest cat. He loves to play with circular toy that has a ball that goes around and around. He will sit there and keep hitting the ball around and around. Bea also has an over bite that makes him look ridiculous sometimes. Overall he is a good cat, stays out of trouble and doesn't cause any problems.

new work area Just For Me!

Since our extra bedroom is going to be given away to Charlotte, we had to find a new spot for all my craft stuff. This is the entry way to our front door. We don't ever use the front door, it was mostly a junk collection spot. I made a trip to Ikea for most of the items except the desk and little CD/Bookcase. I needed Martin to check the dimensions and luckily we found a desk that would fit in the tiny space. I was so excited when the little CD/Bookcase fit too. There is a closet to hand all my fabric and store extra stuff. It is the greatest work area ever!

ZEE!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Zee, our female cat. She is quite the character. She loves attention. Every morning she will jump up on the bed and start kneading Martin and then demand pets. Our other cat Bea is pretty funny too, but I will save him for another day.
