This past Monday Martin, Charlotte and I went roller blading. I was wearing knee pads and wrist pads. One of the wrist pads I was wearing was giving me a briuse on my arm so I took it off about half way through our ride. Martin is a way better roller blader than me. I have to plan every move. So he was pushing Charlotte. We get to the lake and we are cruising along and just past the lake is a steep hill with a 90 degree corner at the end. Martin didn't think to warn me about it and I had decided in my head to suck it up and try it. I think during the hill I even yelled to martin, "Oh no I'm in trouble." At the bottom of the hill right as I was turning my left foot flew forward and my chest flew backwards. Splat! Broken Debbie on the concrete. Just so happens I fell on my wrist that didn't have a wrist pad. I went to the doctor it wasn't broken just a really bad bruise. It is feeling better but still hurts to move it. Thanks to my mother-in-law Charlotte didn't have to live on the floor with me.

Dude Debs! Sorry I laughed at the thought of you flying through the air with one wrist-guard on! That looks really bad!
Holy cow! I can't believe you didn't break it! In some ways, I agree with Kari though...the memories of some of your crashes at gym were pretty funny. I imagine this crash looked like those :)
